It was very good! How many of you like Captain Ds? It was $7.29 for 3 peices of Catfish, Fries and slaw. I dont eat slaw but the fish and fries were very good! I will be back. Last time I was there I had Shrimp which were very good! At least here the portions are big. What is your favorite item at Captain Ds? Have a great day. Anilus: My husband loves their fried fish but I think it's pretty meh. Not a huge fan of seafood but their chicken tenders are pretty good and I love their fries and hushpuppies. The slaw is terrible. OP: Yes, I was not impressed with their slaw. I love hush puppies! Do you like the food at Culvers? Anilus: Never been to Culver's. I'm sure it's overpriced since it's in St. George, they tend to overcharge for everything. OP: yes they do! It is very good but at least where I live is overpriced! So I eat there very little. But I do love their fries and custard ice cream! But, it is too expensive! Anilus: I've been eating more and more at home lately. It seems like there is no good fast food place in St. George. OP: It depends on your taste. I like some restaurants but there are very few! I usually have a big sandwich for lunch and a protein for dinner. In between those meals, I eat fruit. Anilus: Same, some days I don't even have an appetite. Been getting protein bars in between meals to make sure I'm getting enough food in. OP: It is hard to get enough food in. But, if you eat right you can get it all in. What is your favorite protein bar? Anilus: I get the Nature Valley Protein bar, like 10g protein, 5g sugar, decent taste. OP: That is a good protein bar. I like that one also! But it has more sugar than that! I think the almonds are very good! I eat at least one a day. Anilus: I was going off memory. Sorry. OP: no need to apologize. You were right! You eat something that has 5 grams of sugar and 10 grams of protein! Is that enough for you? Do you eat something with it? Anilus: Well, it's in between meals for me. I might have yogurt in the morning, a salad or some tuna in the afternoon, then a light dinner. So a protein bar in between meals is plenty. I used to buy Luna bars but they're more candy than a meal replacement. OP: I have never bought Luna bars. I like Quest bars! They are all natural and have 20 grams of protein.
