The Supernova's are well made, but as with anything the old adage "you get what you pay for" applies here. Sure they are made by benelli, but I think its built to fit a price point for the general market and not really built for the hunter who is in the bush on their back like other premium shotguns (Browning, Berretta, Weatherby, Mossberg to name a few). Just my opinion, but my advice is to try it out first before you buy it, especially if you are gonna spend over $800 on a shotgun. TL;DR - Yes, its well made. Try before you buy. Mossberg doesn't offer anything other than the 835 turkey model and Winchester only has the SXP Turkey model which is also more of a budget model. Browning has the BPS NWTF model for 1000 which seems a bit excessive and Remington has the 870 Shurshot turkey model which is also 1000... I would have thought there'd be something in the 700 range from those brands or another maker but maybe I just haven't found it yet. bliz0nees: If I may make a suggestion, take a look at the browning gold hunter pump.
